The beloved Robin gives us all so much joy , especially at this time of year

Ask yourself this year, how much do you really care about the Robins and their garden friends ?

What have you done this year to help stop the unnecessary pesticide use . We can all run out and buy as many seeds and houses as we want to support their food source and habitat but surely we should stop poisoning it .

Robins are particularly sensitive to pesticides and deserve our protection from further harm. We are all responsible to speak up for those who can’t. With their investigative natures Robins are bound to wander onto our streets and pavements where councils normally would use pesticides to treat the weeds , they are unable to tell if it has been sprayed or not naturally coming into contact with the insects that have been negatively affected too …

It is reassuring to know that the Robin is truly welcomed in Balerno - a Pesticide Free community since 2020 We believe in protecting natures friends not poisoning them
